The Wix tracking challenge
Wix is a closed ecosystem. You can add GTM via the Wix dashboard, but Wix's built-in forms don't fire standard form submission events that GTM can detect. The forms use Wix's own JavaScript framework, and the submission events are internal to their platform.
To track Wix form submissions in GTM, you either need Velo (Wix's developer platform) to fire custom events, or you need to use a third-party form that embeds on your Wix page instead of Wix's native forms.
For someone who chose Wix specifically to avoid coding, this defeats the purpose.
The alternative
Tagless works on Wix without Velo coding. Add the script to your Wix site via the Custom Code section in Settings. Tagless detects form interactions on the page regardless of whether they're Wix native forms, embedded Typeforms, or anything else.

How it works with Wix forms
The Tagless script on your page auto-injects a hidden reference field into your form. When someone submits, that reference travels with the form data. Tagless matches it to the GCLID captured when the visitor arrived from Google Ads.
The only setup step: connect via a webhook.
Create a one-step Make.com scenario: trigger on Wix form submission, add an HTTP module that calls your Tagless webhook URL. No Velo coding, no Wix Automations to wrestle with.
When the submission fires, Tagless receives the data, matches the reference to the GCLID, and the lead appears in your dashboard with full attribution — campaign, ad group, keyword.

Beyond forms on Wix
Many Wix sites also have WhatsApp buttons, email links, and phone numbers. If you're running Google Ads to a Wix site and your leads come through multiple channels, Tagless tracks all of them from the same script.
